In line with its mission to empower entrepreneurs, ignite innovation, and progress into new worlds, LEAP23 – the world’s most visionary technology event – has launched the ground-breaking Alliance for Metaverse and Web3 Empowerment (AM3E).

The launch at LEAP23, which runs at Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Centre until February 9, united global companies and creators driving the next generation of digital experiences and creator economies across the Metaverse, as well as the architects of Web3 technology – the economic engine set to power the evolution of the Metaverse.

A year-round, global initiative intended to lead to genuine outcomes, AM3E’s core objective is to create a set of ethical, economic, and technological principles that digital builders can utilise to ensure their products and services represent a fair and safe space across the digital ecosystem. Comprising pioneers, innovators, and industry champions, AM3E assembled renowned individuals, companies, and organisations accelerating the Metaverse for an inaugural two-hour executive roundtable at LEAP23. The founding AM3E working group explored how a unified set of core principles can best serve creators, builders, businesses, and users defining how the world interacts with the opportunity-laden cyberspace of the 21st century.

Launched by parent company HyperSpace, a Future Forward Entertainment company that builds and operates physical parks for a digital world, AYA invites intrepid travelers to step foot into a huge universe of vibrant, interactive experiences across 12 different zones, each with its own unique theme and interactive elements.

Travelers will play, drift and dream through observatories packed with a million stars, gardens of blooming light and a river of colour that generates storms and pools with every footstep in an out-of-this-world experience like no other.

At AYA travelers will leave the real world behind to create memories of the future in a vibrant and colourful cosmos. The transformative journey begins by entering the world of Aurora, followed by The Source, Drift, Outland and The Pool zones. Cosmic stars, pools, lush hills and waterfalls of The River zone, The Falls, Celestia, Flora, Tides and Harmonia complete the spectacular experience.

Along the way travelers to AYA will dance with avatars and unlock new characters to interact with as part of the totally immersive experience, in a sanctuary that does not exist in our own known universe.

Aurora; in a first look inside this new world, gesture control and movement provides an interactive experience to immerse travelers into 230 square foot of interactive artwork to consume the senses. Pools constructed from cosmic dust and reflected from beyond the stars will offer a glimpse of what is to come, as waves of light cascade across the zone and a rainbow of colours dance.

 

The Source; a 3,250 square foot zone is the first AYA experience. A mystical chamber of digital pools and a touch reactive dome that tunes into human senses ignites the experience, while surrounding projections inject new life into the zone. Set across six chapters, a six-minute display with reactive LED pools will transport travelers into the beautiful universe, using the latest touch reactive technology.

Drift; Another huge area to explore is a 2,000 square foot zone, where travelers can journey to the heart of the AYA universe. Lie back on a lush hillside, that gently vibrates in time with the surrounding music to feel a sense of weightlessness as a panoramic projection transports travelers to a peaceful new landscape.

Outland; This zone is set across three chapters to introduce new characters and avatars of the AYA experience. A corridor of imagination is controlled by movement where the presence of guests brings forth new creatures from this captivating new world. Skeletal tracking and projection mapping are technologies used to enable visitors to dance alongside the avatars of this unexplored domain.

The Pool; Immersive projections bridge the journey to the start of the river exploration. Beginning with an infinity vortex to capture the senses of those who step inside, the next chapter of the experience begins to unfold.

The River; Storms and pools of colour and light are generated with every footstep inside this 2,000 square foot space; The Deep and The Dunes. A secret unlockable chapter of the adventure with LED screens and detection sensors that pick up the movements of those inside, brings this zone to life through a river of vibrancy.

The Falls; An audio responsive waterfall that runs upside down to defy the laws of gravity signals the end of the River journey in this section of the attraction.

Celestia; By interacting with beams of light, celestial events are trigged in this fully immersive zone that projects a mapped vision of the cosmos. A light show across five different chapters and an interactive spatial game awaits those who connect with the 13-minute-long show.

Flora; Creatures formed by light in this bioluminescent garden respond and react to the movement of travelers into the world of AYA. During this nine-minute-long show, presence detection technology transports visitors into an intelligent oasis of all living things.

Tides; An infinite mirrored chamber adorned with LED totems and an interactive monolith are the centerpiece of this eight minute show compiled of four different storytelling chapters.

Harmonia; Finally, a three minute long finale will see a robotic light show in a mirrored infinity zone that stretches far into the distance.

In line with its vision to be a leader in customer service, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MOEI) launched its government service manual that is enhanced with Augmented Reality (AR). This is the first of its kind service manual that adopts such an innovative design. The user can scan the QR codes on the manual’s pages with a smart phone’s camera, to watch video clips of officials talking about the topic, providing a unique dazzling experience to the customer.

Experts and department officials from MOEI took part in developing the AR content. They were keen to speak in a simple language that everyone can understand so that it’s easy for customers to know all the service requirements and understand the context in relation to the services that precede it and the procedures that follow.

In addition to the AR content, many services feature step-by-step videos explaining how to obtain them along with sign language interpretations. This is part of the ministry’s commitment to including all member of society, and giving equal opportunity to everyone, including people of determination.

Commenting on this achievement, Laila Moosa Albaloushi, Director of Strategy and The Future at MOEI, said, “The UAE Government aims to be one of the best governments for the best country in the world. To achieve this goal, it has launched an integrated system of strategic plans and initiatives that aim to adopt the best practices of government and organisational excellence. These include the UAE Strategy for Government Services 2021-2025 and the UAE Government Charter for Future Services. This Charter encourages all government organiations to develop new service delivery models and customer communications methods to provide distinct and innovative ‘Human Centered’ experience. This has prompted us to launch our service manual in an innovative way that is rich in quality content in terms of both information and design.

Albaloushi added, “One of the key issues that we were keen to address in this unique manual is to raise awareness among all our customers, especially after merging other ministries and government agencies under the unified umbrella of the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. We believe that the manual has succeeded to a large extent in highlighting this aspect, which is presented using impressive visual content that shows the relationship among the various sectors of MOEI and how they complement each other. This integration leads to developing modern communities and urban areas that provide the finest and best energy efficient and sustainable houses and complexes to ensure a prosperous and decent life for Emiratis. They feature modern roads and means of transport that are integrated with the federal and international transportation networks land railways and are linked with the UAE’s ports for import and export, building a prosperous national economy.

The MOEI Service Manual has over 220 pages with information about 123 services. They are categorised into Housing Services, Maritime Transport, Land Transport, Infrastructure Services, and Energy and Petroleum Materials Services. The printed version of the manual features QR codes that open the service page on the ministry’s website or smart app.

Amira Aljasmi, Head of Corporate Services Section, Strategy and Future Foresight in the Ministry, said, “In this manual, we were keen to make a breakthrough in preparing a government services manual. We wanted to transform it from mere tables with separate government service cards, into a comprehensive story that tells the customers’ journey and their relationship with our services from their own point of view in a way that achieves their interests and meets their needs. This also fulfils an urgent need for us in the Ministry with its wide range of customers including citizens, residents, national and foreign companies, in addition to many government entities. It was necessary to enrich the content of the manual with the most information and details that are visually enhanced. This includes interactive content and infographic designs, because information is the basis for digital transformation and adopting digital services.”

Aljasmi added, “At the Ministry, we aim to be one of the key hubs for innovation, creativity and developing new ideas. Launching the innovative services manual coincides with completing the transformation of all our services into digital services that are available on the Ministry’s website and smart app. We will continue to enhance our communication with customers to achieve their satisfaction and streamline their procedures, in compliance with our commitment to the UAE Government Charter for Future Services. We promise our customers with more surprises, which go beyond reality to new and innovative digital world.”

The manual features detailed information about the ministry’s services and communication channels. These include sending direct messages to H.E Eng. Suhail Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, and requesting technical support and assistance through various innovative communication channels. The manual also includes an FAQ section to facilitate customers’ access to important information to complete their transactions easily and seamlessly. The manual has been developed in accordance with the Global Star Rating System for Services.

The fundamental inspiration for this first-of-its-kind collaboration with M&M’S is rooted in rock ‘n’ roll lore and legend. For decades, rock bands notoriously insisted on tour riders to satisfy talent requests for specific backstage beverages, snacks and accommodations. Mars’ iconic candies – including world famous M&M’S, have been included in some of the most discerning requests from some of rock n’ roll’s most illustrious legends.

Music critics and operations experts have debated the rationale for decades – was it rock n’ roll extravagance? Or were the clauses a brilliant way for artists to quickly check if they were playing a buttoned-up venue with detail-oriented management?

In all cases, M&M’S were involved and necessary accessories to some of the greatest moments in rock history. In one of the most well-known tour rider requests, a rock band asked venue operators to provide a bowl of M&M’S with a certain candy color removed as a way to check that all of their instructions were followed. But what happened to those missing M&M’S? At last, that mystery has been solved. KINGSHIP has all of them.

As KINGSHIP grew in stature and began playing larger venues, Hud convinced the rest of the group to join him during the downtime between sound check and the show: A search through the labyrinthine backstage areas of each venue for these legendary M&M’S to make each concert sweeter. They found several crates of M&M’S in a broom closet at one of New York’s most historic arenas, a buried cache at a rustic Amphitheater in Colorado and a few strays in the Queen’s Royal box in London. The members of KINGSHIP knew the key to living in the present is inclusion and bringing people of all backgrounds together. So, they resisted the temptation to consume the candy and instead united all the colors of the M&M’S family. The result of this incredible feat of dedication is today’s M&M’S collaboration — with KINGSHIP becoming the first Bored Ape characters to do so.

In addition, M&M’S will play a key role in KINGSHIP’s story, with the group traveling to a mysterious island stacked with what appears to be boulders that are later revealed to be a sky-high pile of M&M’S in all six colors.

Since launching in November, the KINGSHIP team has quickly grown to include celebrity animator Jack Lanza, Grammy Award-winning music producers and well-respected NFT collector Jimmy McNelis, a.k.a. J1mmy.eth. KINGSHIP, whose Bored Ape characters include rare Golden Fur and Blue Beams Apes, was created by Celine Joshua, who recruited the members of the group from McNelis. The Key Cards sold out 24 hours after the start of the mint on Thursday, July 14. The collection ranked No. 1 on OpenSea’s Music Chart and ranked as the marketplace’s No. 1 Trending NFT collection across all categories on release day. As of today, KINGSHIP ranks #1 on OpenSea’s Music NFT chart.

The collectible Key Cards feature different members of KINGSHIP and contain unique attributes, some more rare than others. In addition to membership to the group’s virtual world, located on an island far away from the swamp where Captain, KING, Arnell and Hud were born, the Key Cards will also unlock exclusive access to music, content, products, and a token-gated community. Oceanco is extending its collaboration to CasperLabs, Dgallery and Megalodon to release its upcoming Superyacht NFTs collection on the Ethereum Blockchain and Casper Blockchain.

Oceanco announced today that it will be launching part of its Superyacht NFTs collection on the Casper Blockchain, to be sold via Dgallery and superyachtnfts.com. The official signing ceremony took place during the Blockchain Hub Davos 2022 event, where Paris Baloumis, Group Marketing Director of Oceanco, was joined by signatories from CasperLabs, Dgallery, Megalodon and Bozca Limitless Design.

A world-class builder of large custom superyachts, Oceanco is renowned for its ground-breaking vessels that set industry standards. Reinforcing its reputation as an industry pioneer, Oceanco is also the first superyacht builder to launch into the digital world with a series of NFTs.

Designed by Timur Bozca of Bozca Limitless Design, the collection of Superyacht NFTs blends real design and top names in yachting with utilities for NFT holders. The collection has been created with the philosophy that yachting is about fun and experiences. To further boost the experiential side of its utilities, Superyacht NFTs has selected travel and yachting expert Pelorus as one of its key utility partners.
